What is a good, cheap mp3 player that can also play movies?
Hi,
Obviously there isn’t a dirt cheap mp3 player that can play dvds/movies, but on ebay I am sure there is.
Anyway, I am looking to spend less than $50.
Right now, I am looking at the Sansa Fuze for $43 on ebay.
Should I get a different mp3 player, or is that the best mp3 player to buy that can play media for a low price?
I have a microsd card by the way.

Transcend makes a decent MP3 player, here’s a link to a good price on one… this site has a variety to choose from and I think the Transcend brand has a bigger screen than the Sansa Fuze

well up until a couple hours ago….mine lasted about 14-16 hours of playback on one charge…and that was enough for me, i really think it depends of format or the files though…however….i-pod plus water is BAD, don’t let them mix…take my advise =p

Which Mp3 Player is better the Creative Zen Vision W 30 GB or the Apple Ipod Touch 8 GB? Knowing that they are both at the same price. Creative has 30 GB hard disk and outter speakers while the Apple Touch has 8 GB and Wi Fi web browser feature available. Totally Lost…!
Creative makes better mp3 players than apple. actually, pretty much everything is better than apple. anyways, the zen has a lot more storage room. 30 G = 15,000 songs. 8 G= 2000 songs.
I would be afraid that the touch screen would wear out over time. I know a lot of people who have had creative mp3 players for about a year now and no problems with them.

iPod sales?
since this new law in Canada has been announced saying that it is illegal to download free music and copy CDs for your iPod, do you think that it will lower the iPod sales in Canada?
is this law just ridiculous or do you think that it will actually work??
I doubt they can monitor all computers downloading and copying Cds in Canada. It may affect ipod sales or CD sales for that matter since people would just probably buy it off iTunes if you want to put it in your ipod.
Stupid law…they actually passed this?

I dropped my ipod into a sink full of water. I also chipped one of the “prongs?” where you connect it to the computer. Is there a mail in repair service that is good, or would it be better to go buy a new one?

How much money do bands make from CD sales as opposed to mp3 sales on itunes?
What is the best way to support a band you like? I’m under the impression they get barely anything, like 50 cents per CD sold, sometimes I think I’d rather just send the money direct to the band, instead of throwing it in the record company’s coffers.
CD’s make bands rich-
ie: AC/DC hasn’t sold the right to their songs to iTunes because they can be sold as individual songs and AC/DC wants their albums viewed as a complete piece of art. The Beatles don’t have songs on iTunes, and until recently Mettalica and the Stones didnt have didnt have songs on itunes I suggest buying a CD. Always there… always reliable. PS – bands get more than 50cents for each album sold
Also, take Katy Perry. Her album sold like 800,000 copies, but “I Kissed A Girl” sold like, over 10 mil so she can’t rely on her whole album as a source of income so she does iTunes. Same deal with Estelle and “American Boy”
